From Blank Wall to Meaningful Public Art
Featured Project
Every mural starts with an idea, but the best ones become part of a community's story.
For The Water Remembers, I created a mural honoring Chief Gene Shepard at a memorial park in Shelby Township, Michigan in partnership with the Detroit Institute of Art.
From the first concept to the finished painting, each detail was designed to give the space meaning and create something the community could connect with.
Meet Krista Kameleon, Your Mural Artist
Hey, I'm Krista! I'm a muralist and designer based in the Charleston, South Carolina area, with over 10 years of experience in art, graphic design, and creative direction.
After years of helping brands communicate through design, I decided to pursue art full time and bring that same thoughtful approach to large-scale painting. Today, I create custom murals that combine bold ideas, vibrant color, and purposeful design to transform ordinary spaces into something extraordinary.
My process is collaborative from start to finish. I'll work with you to understand your vision, develop a custom concept, and bring it to life with a mural designed specifically for your space.
Elevate Your Space
Whether you're looking to transform your home, make your business stand out, or turn an ordinary wall into something extraordinary, I'd love to help bring your vision to life.

Add this butterfly soft enamel pin to your collection! As a one-year anniversary of my butterfly love art + poem I made this pin to celebrate my transformation. One year ago, I was at my lowest point mentally and physically so I set intentions of the life I wanted to live. Today, one year forward, I can proudly say I have accomplished those intentions. This butterfly is a symbol of transformation. From death comes new life. If you’re struggling through something and need a little extra hope, let this butterfly help guide you to where you’re exactly supposed to be. It helped me and now I want to give you my wings to help you.
